How Attic started
Attic started with an idea from my cofounder Ali.
She asked a simple question: if there's DoorDash for food, Uber for rides, and Amazon for just about everything else, why is storage still such a frustrating experience?
That idea stuck with us. With my background in development and product building, we set out to create something better.
We wanted storage to feel simple, instant, and invisible, not something that wastes your entire weekend. So we built Attic.

The things
people ask first.
How does the pickup work?
You schedule a window in the app. A driver comes to your door, scans each crate, and loads them onto the truck. You don't haul anything. No trips to a self-storage lot, no rented vans.
What if I need something back fast?
Tap "send it back" in the app. We bring the crate to your door the next available window, usually next day. Free after a crate has been stored for four months; $15 per crate flat before that.
How do you keep my things safe?
Every crate carries a QR plate that's scanned at pickup, on the way into the facility, when it's shelved, and on every return, so there's a full chain of custody. Every crate is insured.
Do I have to commit?
No. There's no contract, no minimum crate count, and no monthly subscription you can't escape. When a crate is empty at your place, tap "send it back." We pick it up for free, and that crate's monthly fee stops at the next billing cycle.
